Patrick and Regina met at a Bible college in 1995. Together they have been in ministry for over twenty years. Patrick is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS Orlando, M.Div, 2014). From 1999 – 2014, they served together at a Reformed church in Sanford, Florida. Eight of those years, they led short-term teams to serve among the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians in Cherokee, NC. From 2017 – 2019, They served at the Mokahum Ministry Center on the Leech Lake Reservation in Minnesota, working with fellow Native brothers and sisters.
Most pastors in Native America are bi-vocational and cannot afford seminary education. Building on the partnership between MTW and Third Millennium Ministries, Patrick will be bringing seminary-level education to Native American pastors and leaders. Regina will encourage women (especially pastor’s wives) in personal growth as well as theological training. Since Third Mill offers free biblical and theological curriculum utilizing multiple media formats, Native people can study in the context of their home and culture. Their hope is that through this training, Native American/First Nations pastors and leaders will be better equipped to disciple their flocks and more and stronger churches will be planted in Indian Country.
